The World Bank Group has entered a new era of commitment to the challenge of climate change. Donors helped create the Clean Technology Fund and the Carbon Partnership Facility, to extend the spectrum of incentives for promoting clean energy activities. Can these new initiatives, in addition to the GEF, increase both the efficiency and impact of the MDB community’s work to support climate change mitigation and development? |
