Reconstruction Finance Update
April saw the publication of the first Aceh Tsunami Reconstruction Expenditure Tracking Update. The update gives an overview of the progress of funding allocations to tsunami-related reconstruction projects to the end of 2007. At that point in time, US$6.4 million in funds had been allocated, with the Government also confirming its budget allocation for US$327 million in 2008, while donor allocations increased by over US$100 million.
