This is an external body whose mandate covers any project or program financed at least in part by the IDA or the IBRD. The Panel is a non-judicial, fact-finding body that acts independently and objectively in evaluating the process followed by the Bank in the design, appraisal, and implementation of specific projects. The Panel does not investigate projects unless it receives a formal request for inspection. Investigations do not seek to place guilt on individuals, but rather to ensure that the Bank as an institution follows its policies and procedures, and, in this way, to improve the development process. There are no fees for filing a request nor for the follow-ups and no need of hiring lawyers. www.inspectionpanel.org b &x >0xH < 0޽h ? 3380___PPT10.T/rD1'=8i:<>GNA[EXS`i/Cq1Oh+'0 `h 0How the CRPD affects programmes and projectsMarco Nicoliwb7193911Microsoft PowerPoint@P#9@PP@<Gg P4 y33--$xx--'@Arial-. 12 Convention on the Rights of .System:-@Arial-. 42 Persons with Disabilities and .-@Arial-. 2 &DAfrica.-@Arial-. 32 I*How CRPD affects development .-@Arial-. 2 N7 projects/,.-@Arial-. 2 NK programmes.-@Arial-. 2 YCby Marco Nicoli.-@Arial-. 2 ^BAugust 17, 2007.-՜.+,D՜.+,L On-screen ShowMarco Nicoli1F Ariallr oSVbNDefault DesignBConvention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Africa =CRPD is a HR convention with strong relation to development :CRDP as opportunity to move toward inclusive development 'CRPD and development programs/projectsWhat can DPOs do!Entry points in WB Project Cycle(Resources www.worldbank.org/disability/ Fonts UsedDesign Template Slide Titles 8@ _PID_HLINKSAh*_ftn1 _ftnref1chttp://siteresources.worldbank.org/DISABILITY/Resources/280658-1172611505565/MakingInclusionOp.pdfjhttp://siteresources.worldbank.org/SOCIALPROTECTION/Resources/SP-Discussion-papers/Disability-DP/0712.pdf^http://siteresources.worldbank.org/DISABILITY/Resources/280658-1172606907476/SAnalysisDis.pdf http://www.inspectionpanel.org/ http://www.inspectionpanel.org/_ wb71939wb71939 !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@BCDEFGHJKLMNOPRSTUVWX[Root EntrydO)Current UserQSummaryInformation(APowerPoint Document(1DocumentSummaryInformation8I
