Jonathan Kastelic is a Field Operations Specialist in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. His primary areas of research interest include instrument methodology, agricultural production and technical efficiency, and informal insurance networks and coping strategies. As part of the LSMS-ISA team, he has worked with the Malawi, Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania field teams. His main areas of expertise include the development of survey instruments, development and application of technical data systems and the organization and monitoring of fieldwork operations. He holds a Masters in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco.
