Thomas Pave Sohnesen is a Development Economist in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. He is an applied economist taking a keen interest in issues related to poverty and public service delivery. His research interests include the measurement of poverty dynamics and methods in household survey data collection. On the LSMS team, Thomas is working on guidelines for measuring and tracking poverty between rounds of LSMS surveys. He has worked in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management and Human Development Departments of the Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe and Central Asia Regions of the World Bank.
