Visitors who will be attending the Transport Forum should follow the
security instructions below.
Go directly to the 1818 H Street, N.W. (main

you are an external participant attending the Transport Forum. You
will be allowed to enter the building and directed to a special
visitor screening area inside the lobby. Please note that all
visitors must have photo identification to enter the building.
If
you are having meetings with Bank staff in other buildings,
please contact the staff member to arrange a security pass for
you. The Transport Forum participants badge is for
attendance at the Transport Forum only and allows access to the Main
Complex only.
Computers and internet access:
You may bring a computer into the World Bank, though this will
subject you to an additional security check. The serial numbers
of the computer will be recorded and a "computer pass" will be
issued. Computers cannot be plugged into World Bank
Intranet/Internet ports. You may, however, access the Internet
through the World Bank's library in the main building, three
floors underground (MC C3 level) where there are six computers
for external guests.
Speakers:
Although we will load all copies of presentations received into
our system in advance of the Transport Forum, please bring backup
copies of your presentation on a memory stick.
